Agreement not honored

I am Utterly disappointed and appalled at the service I received from this company. They kept hounding me to upgrade my package that had expired. Eventually a consultant said if I upgrade he'd give me a package of 50 minutes as well as 350mb in addition he'll give me 2 gigs as a bonus for 24 months.

This was at the end of July. we received an iphone as part of the deal on 20 August. We received a 30 gig once of data thing which ran out end of September when I noticed that it doesn't seem that we received the 2 gig promised, thought that the new contract could take a while to kick in. When October came I eventually contacted MTN to query, They gave me the run around and also said that the loading date is the 12th so I must wait and see then. It was never loaded.

Phoned again and was adviced to email customer care. Nothing came off the email. No response. Eventually after countless phone calls and hours of being sent from pillar to post talking to useless reception and phone desk people, they gave me the number for Mobile Plus. More phone calls/dropped calls by the call centre and eventually I got through to Comesan Pillay who guaranteed that he would phone me back which he never did. Eventually after 20+ phone calls I was put through to Clinton Pillay and he said. Although the consultant promised the 2 gig it wasn't loaded and there's nothing he can do now because it is past the cooling off period.

This is unacceptable. I received the phone on the 20th of August, the once off 30gig bundle was on at that time and only after September realised that the 2gig data bundle as promised was never loaded. The so called verbal agreement wasn't honored on your part. I was suppose to have received an email with all the details/contract, which if I had received I would have had the contact details to query in the first place. MTN call centre couldn't give me details on the upgrade at first, I had no contact details. I queried the 2 gig as quickly as possible.

Mobile Plus and MTN is ******* and in the business of ripping people off.
