Extremely disappointing service and unacceptable waiting times
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service we received at the emergency room at Constantiaberg Mediclinic when bringing in my 5-year-old child. It is absolutely unacceptable to experience such long waiting times in an emergency department, especially when it involves a young child who needs medical attention. As a parent, you arrive at an emergency room expecting your child to be assessed and treated promptly, only to be left feeling frustrated, concerned, and completely let down by the service. The level of service we experienced was far below what I would expect from a private medical facility. When parents bring their children to an emergency room, they are already worried and under stress. The last thing they should have to deal with is excessive waiting times and poor service. What makes this even more disappointing is the expectation that a private hospital should provide efficient, compassionate, and professional care, particularly in an emergency situation. I believe Constantiaberg Mediclinic needs to take a serious look at its emergency room processes, staffing, patient communication, and waiting times. Patients, especially young children, deserve better. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and implements meaningful improvements so that other families do not have to go through the same experience. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I would appreciate a proper response from management explaining how this situation is being addressed.

Pathetic Administration and Customer Service
Pathetic admin for follow ups and feedback. Once leaving the hospital, I've not been contacted for bookings of medical tests, to see a doctor, results of tests. It's DIY and it becomes fairly difficult to get hold of the appropriate person it is you need to speak to. Surprised by the low level of service I've been receiving.

Poor Neurological Ward Meal Nursing.
Poor neurological ward meal nursing. The times I visited my aunt during lunch finding her unable to eat after all the patients had finished. We had to lift her bed, reposition her and feed her as she was so hungry. How many other meals did she miss.

If you want to die, go to Constantiaberg hospital
What a **** show. Two hours in the ER waiting room. Another 5 hours in ER before my 81 year old Mom with a fractured pelvis was actually admitted. In all that time, they gave her Panado!!! She was crying in pain & they just could not care less. All very sweet when they talk to you but absolutely no real medical assistance. Go there to die people.

Medi-Clinic Constantiaberg Hospital Flush Bodily Fluids Down Wash Basin
My wife and I visited my brother in law at Medi-Clinic Constantiaberg and were informed that the nursing staff had flushed bodily fluids down the wash hand basin in his room. Fluids leaked out of the bottle waste trap. On enquiry we were informed that it was standard practice to do this at this hospital. Surely this is in contravention of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act (Act No. 59 of 2008)

Mediclinic Constiaberg Maternity ward has been all round excellent
Excellent service at the Mediclinic Constiaberg maternity ward. New parents are treated well, Nurses baby sit your newborn at night allowing you to sleep, private rooms + private bathrooms. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional.
