Unlimited Call Contract

When MeAndYouMobile started out in May with the unlimited contract for R300.I was one of the first to join and take the chance. I paid the monies required and received my sim and was very Happy that the service was efficient. So I ran with the MeandYou mobile sim until my Vodacom contract terminated. I ported my Vodacom number ..again I was impressed. All of a sudden yesterday I get a call barring on my phone. When I phoned the MeAndYou call centre before 17:00 I held on for over 7 minutes and gave up. I emailed and the response I got was that I was in breach of contract for not using 50mb of data. Guys are you for real or do you want to push us into a new contract because your new price is R399.for unlimited contracts. 100mb of data is R25.00. Let me tell you that I have 3 colleagues that I advised on Monday to use YouandMe, I have just stopped them. The least you could have done was phone and said what your intentions were, not ***boy style, Now I am told my contract cannot be reinstated. I am still waiting for a manager to call me for the past hour. The manager would have called me in an hour ago. I am not holding my breath.Change your name To MEandME

Hello miriama,

The R300 Unlimited Talk offer has a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) that applies to customers that make use of it. The FUP was present next to the deal on the website for you to view as you signed up for the deal. The FUP contains certain clauses that are put in place to ensure that the service can be offered for the long term to all our customers, one being that data must be used.

You are pro-rated at the time of barring, meaning that if you are barred on the 15th of the month, you will only be charged R150 as you were only able to use the product for half the month.

You are also able to purchase any of the other me&you mobile bundles, which still offer the lowest call rates on the market. If this is not suitable, you are able to port your number out of our network.

Thank you,
me&you mobile
