misinformed on contract terms

5 months into the contract I recieve an sms that my services will be terminated due to no data been utilised on my handset.
Why was I not informed earlier in my contract by sms just to notify me that no data is been used and this is breach of contract and not last minute just informing me that I can't keep the contract on the same unlimited package and it will be cancelled at the end of the month
This is pathetic service from a provider that wants to gain clients trust.
To me it just seems that the company cannot keep up to their commitment of unlimited calls at R300pm
I need an answer or this rectified asap

Hello Waz007,

The R300 Unlimited Talk offer has a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) that applies to customers that make use of it. The FUP was present next to the deal on the website for you to view as you signed up for the deal. The FUP contains certain clauses that are put in place to ensure that the service can be offered for the long term to all our customers, one of those being that data must be used.

You are pro-rated at the time of barring, meaning that if you are barred on the 15th of the month, you will only be charged R150 as you were only able to use the product for half the month.

You are also able to purchase any of the other me&you mobile bundles, which still offer the lowest call rates on the market. If this is not suitable, you are able to port your number out of our network.

Thank you,
me&you mobile
