Malicious non-compliance
We had a post-paid account with me&you mobile and on the 5th of July I phoned them in order for us to port our two numbers over to our existing Vodacom SP. According to them we owed money on the account and the July invoices hasn’t been raised, which is also strange as we have a debit order that are deducted from our account but has not run. I did the payment electronically and sent them the proof of payment with the request that the two phones be moved to pre-paid so that we can request the port. On the 10th of July Vodacom sent a port request and the request was denied due to suspended account. I phoned me and you mobile and was informed that there was still an outstanding amount as suddenly the July invoice has been raised. I informed the lady that when we requested the phones be moved to pre-paid, the invoices was not yet in effect as this is a post-paid account. Noma informed me that she has to request a usage report for the month of July and will phone me back the moment she received it. On 14 July I phoned again and requested to speak to Noma, she informed me that she has received the report but has forgotten to phone me back. She also stated that she will send the request to pass the credit on the account and that we will be able to request the port by Monday, 17 July 2023. Monday morning Vodacom requested a port and was yet again declined due to suspended account. After phoning me & you mobile again and speaking to Noma again I was informed that nothing was done yet again on the account and she will send the request through again!! Also informing me that we can contact her today (Wednesday, 19 July 2023) to confirm if the credit was passed and the account released for port as the request we sent on Friday can take between 24 and 48 hours to be completed. (On Saturday I received an e-mail stating the the ticket will be closed as the jobcard has been finalized). Phoning them today, I was yet again informed that nothing has been done yet at the technical department and she will phone me back when she receive feedback.
This whole action feels like they are maliciously delaying the actions in order for them to retain the numbers. Their actions now resulted in us having technicians in the field and being unable to contact them and them being unable to contact any clients or our offices for two weeks already.
