*********** Management of Account I have been with meandyou mobile for several years. It is the cheapest and most affordable cellular service provider. That's the only positive comment I can offer them. Their call centre/accounts/supervision/complaints/compliments etc. seem to be all in one. You can never request a callback or email from a specific department. You will however get a response from an individual that's *********** to deal with your query. My issue is that they are unable to allocate my proof of payments on several occasions over the years. I've decided to write this post because nobody from meandyou mobile is willing to address or escalate my matter. After several calls and emails with some of their agents (Rahil,Shiven,Mbali, Lionel) over the past few weeks, my line was soft locked on Wednesday, 10 August 2021. Last week, Rahil requested a proof of payment for April 2021. I could not understand the reason since we are now in August 2021. Meandyou mobile usually "softlocks" your account within a week of non-payment. A few days later Shiven requests proof of payment for July 2021. A few days later, Mbali requests a proof of payment for June 2021. I sent all of the above proof of payments but my account is still softlocked, Saturday, 14 August 2021. Meandyou mobile accounts department or the software that they use, do not recognise when you purchase additional data or airtime via immediate eft on their website. The above agents argued that I was owing for additional data/airtime. I run a small business and rely on communicating with my clients, it is utterly inconceivable that meandyou mobile, after several complaints via calls and email has failed to address my matter. All of their agents that I have dealt with have revealed that customers have similar complaints and they will escalate my issue. Imagine, during this pandemic, where small businesses are struggling to make ends meet, you have business like youandme mobile who does not give a damn.
