Cancels contract with no prior notice
We took out one of their unlimited deals for R300 p/m and all was well until today when I get a call from them saying that I have breached the terms of the contract. Upon asking why and how it was breached, they advise me that it is due to us not using any data on the account. I then asked why wasn't i notified before this via email or a phone call? Their excuse is that they sent an sms to the number. The number is in use by an employee of mine. To top it all off they then tell me that the contract will be terminated as of today and that i will not be able to make any calls. Yet they have already billed me! I ask if data can be bought and added to the account as we weren't made aware of this clause when taking out the deal. answer was no. This is absolutely shocking and pathetic service. Make your customers aware of your sneaky terms and conditions!!! Don't just call them up one day and cancel the service which you have been paid for every month and leave the customer with no alternative.<br>
Thank you for your post. Upon taking up the contract there is a Fair use policy which forms part of the agreement that you would have had to agree to before taking out the contract. We have these clauses in place to ensure that all of our customers have access to our product offering. We do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused however the fair use policy will be upheld.
