**** **** pants on fibre

Absolute ****s! When Linklayer laid fibre in Camperdown KZN , I asked the company what happened to the service during loadshedding and they said as long as I had a UPS on my router it would not be affected. When loadshedding jumped to stage 6 in 2023 after about 2.5 hours our fibre went down. I called them and was told they did not anticipate stage 6 loadshedding and their batteries didn't have the capacity to last the 4 hour stages we get in Camperdown and there were no batteries available to replace the old ones. It is now 2024 and they can barely make the 2 hour stages. Since at stage 6 we mostly get two 4 hour periods and one 2 hour period their fibre is about as useful as Eskom. I have a contract with Mweb and to cancel would cost me penalties so one can't do that. Please don't ever bother with this bunch of *********** fools who are quick to con you into using the service but are actually slow to produce.
