Letaba Wireless is *********** and will waste your money

Our experience with Letaba Wireless has been terrible. They wasted our time, never communicated with us, and we got endlessly shuffled between employees and no-one knew what the hell was going on. Through their incompetence we got stuck with a package that we never asked for and they wasted so much of our time that we couldn’t organise an alternative on time. Heed my warning, just go straight for the alternative and skip Letaba Wireless.

After messing us around for three weeks they finally confirmed we could get the product we want, but that was just a lie or incompetence, who knows.

By this point it was too late to explore other options as we had moved in and needed the internet. Had they confirmed earlier that the flat was not fibre enabled, we would have had more than enough time to find other options. Instead we got bounced around between different employees for 3 weeks without anyone being able to answer our questions. By the way, you can get faster uncapped wifi for cheaper throughout most of Limpopo through Axxess fixed location LTE. Letaba will waste your time and money.

We needed to get Fibre for our new flat. They could not tell us whether the flat is fibre enabled (how can they not have a record of this???) and expected our estate agent to climb on the roof of our 3 storey flat complex to take photos of their equipment. They sent a technician to activate our fibre (which suddenly they said was already installed). The technician got there and there was no fibre equipment, so he installed a slower router which we never asked for (and they are forcing us to pay for this call-out, believe it or not). At this point no-one had yet asked for any confirmation from us nor sent us any quotes or invoices, but they went ahead anyway with no communication to us.

IN SUMMARY: They wasted so much of our time that we are being forced to use their service for a month (and pay more than the agreed upon package) while we organise another solution. The incompetence and lack of communication is astounding, and it seems there is only one employee at the entire company who isy competent, but unfortunately she is not a manager so she has no power to make decisions. Just use Axxess fixed location LTE.
