Advertising for old vacancies or phantom/non existent positions.
We were led to believe that this site was a good idea to look for vacancies given the bad economic times and high retrnchments. My wife clicked on a few adds and tried applying. We were asked to create a profile and insert the works experiences and general information with options of templates to create a new resume. Then we were asked to pay for the trial or you cannot apply for the various positions. This is were it became strange and found there this site is misleading. There was a trial for R49 and then you go onto the R679 Premium membership. You can cancel within 30 days. We were not happy with the service and tried to cancel but was charged the full premium of R679. I immediatly sent an *** and complained. Further to that I have seen adds for vacancies that are non existent or old adds that were previouly filled. This site is advertising for the positions and alerts that you set up. I called those few companies that were on the adds for the vacancies and to my disgust the HR departments said '' these are old vacancies and are not current''. So this site is misleading people to apply and subscribe to their site for vacancies that are no existant. When I enquired about the cancellation i was told that there have peresonially had a look at my case and they will only refund me about R150 or so ..I don't have the correct figure. I had to fight for that part refund and it went as far as we almost cancelling my card at the bank. I find this very unproffessional and and missleading. They are robbing jobseekers and creating false hope. this needs to be addressed immediately as i will put this complaints on all social media platforms. i want my full refund and they need to do a full reconciliation of the vacancies advertised. they cannot say it was an oversight cause a month later i got alerts for vacancies on my email and i checked again with those companies who tol me the same story.

Forcing you to pay to apply for jobs
I would give negative stars if I could. They force you to create a CV on their site before "applying" for any jobs. Even once done, you still cant actually apply for the job without paying for their CV.

I would not recommend it to anyone desperately looking for a job
I cancelled the subscription after I had made the payment because the payments after the first one was a bit too much for me and on the 6th company decided to debt R700 in my account after I had cancelled my subscription on the the 25th of September I have sent *** and contacted my bank and the bank is able to assist with the reversal after 14 days, I'm ****ed beyond words because that money belongs to my kids.

Charged without consent; refund refused; cancellation delayed.
I was charged by JobLeads for a premium membership renewal without any warning email or my explicit permission. When I immediately requested a refund, the company refused and stated that cancellation would only take effect at the end of October. I never knowingly agreed to this renewal. After researching the company, I found numerous consumer complaints reporting similar issues, including unauthorized charges, difficulties cancelling subscriptions, and resistance to refund requests. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has documented a pattern of complaints regarding billing, refunds, and subscription practices and noted that JobLeads failed to respond to its inquiry. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I would urge potential customers to exercise caution before subscribing.

Cancel my subscription immediately please
I am writing to formally complain about the continued charges being deducted from my account for my JobLeads Premium Membership. I have been trying to cancel this membership because I no longer use or require the service. However, I am unable to do so through your website. Your emails repeatedly tell me to log into my JobLeads profile, go to my account, and click the link to terminate my membership. I have followed these instructions, but when I access my profile and the JobLeads portal, there is no clear or functioning option available for me to cancel my Premium Membership. You also provide links and instructions telling me to click "here" to cancel, but when I click the link, the cancellation option does not appear or does not work. I have also tried the option relating to deleting my account, but nothing happens when I click it. This means that I am being told that I can cancel my membership, while in practice I am unable to access a working cancellation option. I find this extremely concerning, especially because I am currently unemployed and do not have a stable income. I cannot afford to have hundreds of rands continuously deducted from my account for a service that I no longer use and have actively been trying to cancel. I am therefore requesting that JobLeads urgently: 1. Manually cancel my Premium Membership. 2. Immediately stop all future recurring charges and payments. 3. Confirm in writing that my membership and recurring billing have been cancelled. 4. Review the charges that have been taken from my account while I have been trying to cancel. 5. Consider refunding the recent charges. 6. Investigate why the cancellation links and account cancellation options provided to customers are not functioning. Please do not send me the same generic cancellation instructions again. I have already followed those instructions, and the cancellation option is simply not available or functional on my account. At this stage, I am extremely frustrated because I am being charged for a service I do not use, while being unable to cancel it through the process you have provided. I would appreciate this being treated as a formal complaint and escalated to the appropriate team for immediate resolution. Please provide written confirmation once the cancellation has been completed and the recurring billing has been stopped.
