Advertising for old vacancies or phantom/non existent positions.

We were led to believe that this site was a good idea to look for vacancies given the bad economic times and high retrnchments. My wife clicked on a few adds and tried applying. We were asked to create a profile and insert the works experiences and general information with options of templates to create a new resume. Then we were asked to pay for the trial or you cannot apply for the various positions. This is were it became strange and found there this site is misleading. There was a trial for R49 and then you go onto the R679 Premium membership. You can cancel within 30 days. We were not happy with the service and tried to cancel but was charged the full premium of R679. I immediatly sent an *** and complained.

Further to that I have seen adds for vacancies that are non existent or old adds that were previouly filled. This site is advertising for the positions and alerts that you set up. I called those few companies that were on the adds for the vacancies and to my disgust the HR departments said '' these are old vacancies and are not current''.

So this site is misleading people to apply and subscribe to their site for vacancies that are no existant.

When I enquired about the cancellation i was told that there have peresonially had a look at my case and they will only refund me about R150 or so ..I don't have the correct figure. I had to fight for that part refund and it went as far as we almost cancelling my card at the bank.

I find this very unproffessional and and missleading. They are robbing jobseekers and creating false hope. this needs to be addressed immediately as i will put this complaints on all social media platforms. i want my full refund and they need to do a full reconciliation of the vacancies advertised. they cannot say it was an oversight cause a month later i got alerts for vacancies on my email and i checked again with those companies who tol me the same story.
