Avoid this agency at all costs , unprofessional and disrespectful
We made the mistake of renting through Jack Russell Estates in April 2026. It was one of the worst rental experiences we’ve ever had. We paid the full rent and deposit on time, but the keys were not even available on the lease start date. The property was nowhere near ready. We moved into a house that was still “upside down,” with ongoing repairs, builders, handymen, gardeners, and major fence work happening for days after we were already living there. Basic issues like plumbing and drainage problems appeared immediately. What shocked us most was how the agent openly bad-mouthed and complained about the property owners to us the paying tenants. The level of unprofessionalism was unbelievable. When we raised legitimate complaints about lack of communication and people entering the yard without any notice, management’s response was defensive, dismissive, and completely lacking in accountability. No proper move-in inspection was done before we occupied the property, despite it being a requirement in the lease. Promises were broken, communication was terrible, and basic courtesy was non-existent. This is not a professional rental agency. It feels like a chaotic, poorly run operation that does not respect its tenants. The low star rating on Google is 100% justified. If you value professionalism, accountability, and basic respect, do yourself a massive favour and stay far away from this company. We deeply regret choosing them and will never deal with them again.

Whatever this company is doing, I would feel very unsafe doing business with them, because it’s definitely shady business. I have been getting emails from them, pretending that my email storage is full and trying to get me to click on foreign links and get my company’s login details. Sies man, you guys should be ashamed. And yes, I was sure to triple check that the email received correlates to the email addresses they use publicly and with their website domain. And no, this is not what it looks like when my service provider informs me that storage is full.

Whatever this company is doing, I would feel very unsafe doing business with them, because it’s definitely shady business. I have been getting emails from them, pretending that my email storage is full and trying to get me to click on foreign links and get my company’s login details. Sies man, you guys should be ashamed. And yes, I was sure to triple check that the email received correlates to the email addresses they use publicly and with their website domain. Did not play open cards.
If anyone is thinking of buying or selling a house through Jack Russell Estate please think again , I bought a simplex through them and was very disappointed in my dealings with them . They never advised me that their was a levy that was going to be raised to build a boundary wall. So I got the invoice and I had to pay , they were not interested . They said they never knew but I have proof that they did know about the special levy. They also never pointed out that there were broken tiles . The form that is suppose to be filled out with anything wrong with the building had no no no on all answers. I trusted them but I was sadly mistaken . I never even got keys for inside doors , I could go further. So please think carefully.

Unprofessional and ******
Just went to view a property Today with my husband and it was such a terrible viewing, even my husband "who is a white guy" noticed there was a ****** vibe happening towards us.😒 The agent (he's name starts with a D) was not even interested in explaining stuff or giving full details about the property 🙄 it's like we were invisible. He were only assisting and giving more details about the apartment to the white older lady and her daughter. So yeah don't using this property agent company if you're a woman of colour. In my husband's opinion and mine, they deserve a definitely 0 star.
