I logged in a claim after I lost my iWatch, I was told backlist it with my service provider. I reached out to Vodacom in order to blacklist the watch. I don't know why but I did. Vodacom advised that they do not blacklist watches. I went back to istoreinsurer and now no one is responding. It's going to be a month now after I logged in a claim but no one seems to know what is happening.

I insured my phone 2024. I just lost it three weeks ago and submitted a claim same day. I have been struggling with Istoreinsure since day one. They keep on giving me different account numbers to deposit the excess fee, however the money bounces back. They are unprofessional and I feel ****** by this insurance.

Disappointed with iStore Insure – Lack of Support and Unfair Payout
Disappointed with iStore Insure – Lack of Support and Unfair Payout I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from iStore Insure regarding my recent insurance claim. My device was insured for R18,000, and my monthly premiums were based on that value. However, when it came time to process a claim, I was only paid out R16,500 — with no clear explanation for the reduced amount, despite multiple attempts to get clarity. To make matters worse, I reached out to inquire about upgrading to an iPhone 17 by either topping up the difference or trading in the unused replacement (an iPhone 15) at its insured value. I was met with zero assistance and was simply told they couldn’t help me, without offering any alternative solution. This lack of transparency, poor customer service, and unwillingness to assist a paying customer is unacceptable — especially from a brand associated with Apple and iStore. I expected far better from iStore Insure. If you're considering insurance through them, be cautious — what you’re told when signing up may not match how you're treated when you actually need support.
