I am extremely dissatisfied with the way my electrical fault complaint regarding my 2024 Hyundai Grand i10 is being handled. The vehicle was driving normally on Saturday, 22 August. On Sunday, 23 August, I found the vehicle completely dead with no electrical power. I contacted Roadside Assistance, and an AA technician attended and attempted to boost the vehicle. The car was subsequently towed to Amanzimtoti Hyundai for diagnosis. I was later informed that the main fuse had blown and that I would be responsible for the repair and towing costs because Hyundai believes the fuse was damaged during an incorrect jump-start. I have challenged this conclusion because the vehicle was already completely dead before the AA technician arrived. I have raised my dissatisfaction with the service department and have also tried repeatedly to contact the Dealer Principal at Amanzimtoti Hyundai by email and telephone, but I have received no response. I have also escalated the matter to Hyundai South Africa Customer Care. Although they have taken my complaint and provided feedback, I am still not satisfied with the outcome and feel that my concerns and the sequence of events have not been properly addressed. I have requested the diagnostic evidence supporting Hyundai’s conclusion, particularly evidence that the AA boost caused the main fuse to blow, but I am still not getting a satisfactory resolution. I am not refusing responsibility for any fault that can be proven to have been caused by me. I am simply asking Hyundai to provide clear technical evidence and properly investigate the root cause before holding me responsible for the repair and towing costs. I purchased this vehicle in July 2024 and expected much better support from Hyundai when dealing with a serious electrical failure. I am asking Hyundai South Africa to urgently intervene, properly review the matter, provide the diagnostic evidence, and resolve this complaint fairly.

I bought a car December 2025 from the Hyundai Amanzimtoti dealership. I had a few concerns pertaining the deal. When I viewed the car before picking up there was a reverse camera on the day I was picking it up it was removed and I was told I need to pay to have it re-installed. The cash back I was promised prior to the deal being finalised was 15k but they sent me 5k and they **** saying the 10k was put towards the deal. They do not appreciate their clients. I really think they can learn a lot from Hyundai Hillcrest, such immaculate service they make every client feel like royalty in their dealership. Hyundai Amanzimtoti should work on their customer skills instead of working overtime covering each other’s tracks. Extremely appalled!

I am utterly disgusted with Hyundai’s warranty practices and customer service. I bought a car in February 2025. Just eight months later, in October 2025, the battery failed completely. When I submitted a warranty claim, it was DENIED. Hyundai’s reason? They claim the warranty expired in September 2025—a month before the failure, and only seven months after I bought the car!how is that even possible??? This is an unacceptable infact *****ulent practice. A warranty must last atleast 2years and Hyundai Amanzimtoti has provided NO FEEDBACK and refuses to acknowledge this clear error.
