Horrible Management and call centre agents
A lady called me, kept quiet on the call after a few seconds then she spoke, she told me she was calling on behalf of FNB and i told her i have no idea what she is talking about, OMG did she not start shouting she said i can hang up the phone if i want to they'll still call again and i asked who said i was gonna hang up and she said what do i mean i don't know what she is talking about and i told her it means she must explain she said no!! I then called back and asked to speak to the manager and the manager Antony De Villiers refused to come take the call because the i did not provide my *** to his agent. Please do not contact me ever again if you are not willing to explain the reason for your call and i believe you can better train your agents to better interact with clients. what a horrible company!!

Vodacom and HP Attorney’s Poor Communication and Administrative Errors Have Turned a Simple Account Transfer into a Nightmare
In August 2026, I opened a new Vodacom account for my company and requested that my existing personal number be transferred to the company. The new account was opened, and the transfer was completed by 20 August 2026. At no point did the consultant inform me that the debit order scheduled for 1 September would still be deducted from my personal bank account. My understanding was that the transfer had been completed and that future payments would be handled through my company’s bank account. As a result, the debit order was unsuccessful because I had not made provision for it in my personal account. I subsequently visited the Vodacom branch in Waverley to confirm that everything was in order. I was assured that my account was in good standing and that the debit order would be processed on 1 October. Shortly after this visit, I realised that the situation was not as straightforward as I had been led to believe, and I contacted Vodacom again. To avoid spending even more time explaining the situation and disputing responsibility for the failed payment, I decided to settle the outstanding balance myself through the VodaPay app. The app allows payment without selecting a beneficiary or entering a reference number, as the payment is supposed to be allocated automatically to the relevant account. Unfortunately, this created another problem. My account was subsequently handed over to HP Attorneys, who informed me that my personal Vodacom account was still outstanding. When I contacted Vodacom, I was told that my payment had been allocated to my business account instead of my personal account. Vodacom logged a payment transfer query and advised that it would be resolved by 28 September 2026. Given that this deadline was only a few days before the next debit order, I specifically asked whether the outstanding query would affect the debit order scheduled for 1 October. I was assured that, because the query was expected to be resolved by 28 September, the debit order would proceed from my company’s bank account and cover the total amount payable for both numbers. I explained the situation to HP Attorneys and provided proof of payment as well as bank statements reflecting the payments made. I made every effort to cooperate and ensure that all parties had the necessary information to resolve the matter. Despite these assurances, on 1 October only the amount relating to the new business account was deducted. No payment was collected for my transferred personal number. I have now received correspondence from HP Attorneys stating that my Vodacom account has been suspended. How is this acceptable? I have made payments, contacted Vodacom and HP Attorneys repeatedly, visited a Vodacom branch, followed up on queries, provided supporting documentation to the attorneys and re**** on the information provided to me by Vodacom consultants. Yet I am still being treated as though I have simply failed to pay my account. What concerns me most is the complete lack of communication and coordination, both between Vodacom and its appointed attorneys and within the organisations themselves. Why are the attorneys not being provided with the latest information regarding payment allocations and outstanding queries? Why do different consultants appear unable to access the relevant history or communicate with one another to establish what has already been done? A customer should not have to repeat the same explanation to multiple consultants, chase the same query repeatedly and personally coordinate communication between Vodacom and its attorneys just to resolve an administrative issue. This has consumed an unreasonable amount of my time and resources. As a business owner, I cannot afford to spend hours resolving problems that should be handled efficiently by the service provider. The situation is particularly frustrating because I took steps to settle the account and prevent the matter from escalating further, only to find myself dealing with attorneys and a suspended account anyway. I understand that administrative errors can happen. What is unacceptable is the lack of accountability, the conflicting information, the failure to meet the promised resolution date and the consequences I am now facing despite having made payments and supp**** proof. I expect Vodacom and HP Attorneys to: 1. Investigate the matter urgently and correct the allocation of my payment to the appropriate account. 2. Reconcile both accounts and ensure that all payments and debit orders are correctly reflected. 3. Resolve the suspension of my personal account. 5. Review the handling of my account transfer and payment query to establish why I have had to spend so much time resolving this matter. At this stage, I have genuinely lost confidence in Vodacom and HP Attorney’s ability to manage my account correctly. It should not be this difficult to transfer a number, allocate a payment correctly and ensure that the relevant departments and attorneys have accurate information. Quite frankly, it is becoming easier to leave my account suspended and move to another service provider than to continue spending my time trying to get Vodacom to resolve an issue that should never have escalated this far. I would appreciate a proper investigation and a meaningful resolution, rather than another reference number or another promise that someone will look into the matter.

Beware of HP Attorneys: A Review of Unacceptable Service and Behavior
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from HP Attorneys. Despite numerous attempts to communicate and resolve my matter amicably, they have consistently ignored my requests for a single point of contact and have engaged in unprofessional, repetitive, and harassing behaviour. Their representatives have failed to address my concerns adequately, and instead, I have been subjected to inconsistent information, unwarranted demands, and undue stress. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for client rights are unacceptable. I have provided all required proof of payments multiple times, yet they continue to request the same information from different individuals, which is both unnecessary and unprofessional. This ongoing conduct has severely impacted my health, well-being, and ability to manage my personal and professional responsibilities. I strongly advise caution when dealing with HP Attorneys. Their approach is dismissive, uncoordinated, and unhelpful. Clients deserve respectful, transparent, and professional service, something I did not experience. I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their client relations and service standards.

LOUSY LAWYERS - HP DALY
FNB has an agreement with this company to collect outstanding debt. All they do is harrass and annoy. Repeatedly told them that I make payments at month, but without fail, I get follow up threatening sms's and emails. Please WAKE UP! As per your website, it says it takes at least 4 days to clear. At least WAIT FOR THE 4 DAYS TO PASS BEFORE YOU START YOUR HARRASSMENT!

Bad customer service
This company hired a bunch of *********** fools, no customer service skills, no assistance at all. I’ve been contacting the company trying to settle a debt as they have made contact on behalf of MTN. When I first called a couple of months back I was told I would be sent an email with the balance and the banking details that did not happen and there was no follow up. Again I’ve been chasing them for banking details, instead of getting assistance I’m getting threats. This company is diabolical. Even the one star they do not derseve it, no professionalism whatsoever.
