WARNING: AVOID HOME CONNECT AT ALL COSTS!

If you value your time, money, and sanity—do yourself a favor and steer clear of Home Connect. This company is nothing short of a nightmare when it comes to customer service and accountability.

I was blatantly misinformed by their support agent regarding the possibility of moving my service. Had I been given the correct information from the start, I could have easily transferred the account to my previous landlord, avoiding unnecessary fees. Instead, their incompetence led to the cancellation of my service, and now they expect *me* to foot the bill for their mistake? Absolutely not.

Home Connect takes zero responsibility for their own errors, and they expect customers to pay for their lack of professionalism. I refuse to be held accountable for their misinformation, and I strongly advise anyone considering their services to

RUN in the opposite direction!!!

Save yourself the frustration and find a provider that actually values its customers, because Home Connect certainly does not.

EDIT:* It's been a year at Home Connect and nothing changed. I want to give specific recognition to Christinah at Home Connect, because she is the only reason I have any faith left in this company.

After dealing with seven different agents over a span of two weeks and getting absolutely nowhere, Christinah resolved more in five minutes than all of them combined. She was efficient, knowledgeable, decisive, and actually understood the issue instead of passing me around or giving scripted responses.

To be completely honest, Home Connect has the worst service I have ever experienced—slow, unhelpful, and incredibly frustrating. However, Christinah was a complete exception. She restored my faith in the company through pure competence and professionalism.

Christinah deserves a raise, and frankly, the other agents should be trained to her standard. If Home Connect had more people like her, their reputation would be entirely different.
