Threatening emails from home-connect

Good day Stay away from Home-Connect, I canceled my service in June or July 2024 the option I was given is either buy the router or they come fetch it on date of cancelation, I opted for the I don't want the router. I then got a email now in September from their pre legal team that I owe them for the router R823 Also according to the fibre owner Zoom, the router belongs to them and not to home-connect. The email had no statement it was just a poorly written email threatening me with legal action. I rep**** and phone home-connect support. they then admitted on email the fault was on their side and I only owe them R50 this was sent on email again after asking no statement. and then Yes I got another threatening email from their pre legal to either pay up with banking details typed into the email again no statement of any kind other wise they would take action. So in short they want to take legal action against me for forcing me to buy a router that i do not want to buy, and do not want at all, and that I said on the cancelation order and on email that they can take it. But the router does not belong to them in the first place, which they admitted to that the fault was theirs. Do not do business with these people!! PS I canceled because of bad service!
