Slowest and Worst ISP in South Africa

Probably the worst ISP in South Africa and I thought the likes of Cool ideas and Flycool were bad. The internet speed has been down for over a month and they will tell the problem is with Vumatel which is utterly absurd. I've been with home-connect since September 2021 and my word am probably the most dissatisfied customer in my area which only has 9 people connected to fibre in my 500m radius. The internet speed is forever slow, if your an online gamer you will lag to death ( it pings 740000 ms!! That's just completely unplayable!!), updating games take the entire day. Simple MMO type games like Counter Strike, Apex Legends, Star Wars the Old Republic, Yu-Gi-OH! duel links is unplayable (Counter Strike you can play offline but against bots)

You cant blame apps, or software or games for slow speed because if its already there then you don't need to download and all your doing is essentially streaming most of the time but even steaming videos on YouTube, DStv, Netflix and Disney + is pointless. How can you stream the news, or sports if the quality is 144p and even that low resolution it lags so many times that you end switching off your pc and just buy yourself mobile data.

Disgusting, absolutely disgusting service wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I unfortunately cant change ISP's because its the only 1 available in my area. Just horrid. Fortunate
