Shocking Service

I can't believe I have to write this to be honest, I started my journey with Home connect 7 years ago and until recently I told all my friends and family to use them in fact I was a little annoying with my insistence as I considered them a great company to use. Until now, my wife and myself moved on the 1st of March 2025 from a house in Craigavon to a house in Bryanston, when I called to informed home connect to move my services after a quick search i was told "We cannot help you as we do not deal with vodacom and vodacom is the provider for that complex" i was quiet upset about this but at the end of the day it is what it is, I then spoke to 2 more people at Home connect who both confirmed they could not help me, so I contacted vodacom directly to get my fibre sorted as to my knowledge Home connect could not help me, fast forward three days and Vodacom has activated my fibre. Home connect then calls me and says why don't you do the fibre with us?....to say I was shocked would be an understatement, why now can you all of a sudden assist me? Be that as it may I decided to give them a chance and after much back and forth picked a package and called vodacom to cancel my contract with them as I'll be dealing with Home connect, fast forward a month and shocker vodacom hasn't cancelled (Despite the fact they confirmed they did) and now wants a nice little amount of about 2k for services rendered. When I called Home connect they were quick to say they cannot help me and I'll need to speak to vodacom myself, after checking my Home connect portal I now find they've noted 0 bytes usage since the 1st of March despite the fact I've been using internet all this time. Want to know why? Because it's coming from Vodacom! So they are happy to debit me but don't think it's odd I haven't used a single byte of data?....I'm ashamed to say I've lost all faith in home connect as a company and I will be advising all the people I referred to them (Of which I know for a fact 4 took up contracts with them) to cancel and move somewhere else, as they clearly do not care.
