Price Increase Notice

I have never had issues since signing up with Home Connect just a little over a year ago but today I was very irritated with the email I received. Why wait to announce a price increase with just a few days left into the new month? Why is a notice of a price increase not given to customers at least 2 months in advance? If my pay date is on the 1st then I only have 5 days notice?
