Pathetic service. ***ards who don't keep clients informed
SADV and HomeConnect are the most pathetic pair when it come to customer service. My Fiber has been down since Wednesday 20 May. I contacted SADV on Thursday to inform them that my service and broadband lights were out and was promptly told they cannot assist, I need to contact HomeConnect to first log a ticket with SADV. I then contacted HomeConnect on Thursday to log the fault. HomeConnect reception transfered me and after 10mins of holding the call was answered and I was again told I would need to be transfered. I requested a call back instead and over 2hrs later still no one got back to me. I eventually called back and was told a ticket had been opened and someone would contact me as there is most likely a physical cable break that needs to be repaired. I heard nothing back on Thursday. On Friday I contacted HomeConnect again to follow up on the query and was told that someone by the name of George would contact me shortly and would come out and investigate. Around 4hrs later I get a call from a technician telling me a ticket was just logged with him(24hr later then I was initially told). He then asked me to test unplugging the green connector on my Fiber box and all electrical connections and plug it back in to see if the box was not "stuck" and if rebooting would help. Through all this the technician repeatedly made comments that it was strange that my Fiber went out on Wednesday (is there a planned outage schedule?) I was then given a sob story that he could not come out immediately as he was far away but would arrange to speak to his colleagues and have someone out on Saturday morning. Now is it my fault that the companies do not have the logic to correctly assign their staff? Furthermore no one got back to me on Friday to say anything had changed so I assumed all was well. Saturday morning came and went and still no one showed up. I called just before midday and requested feedback on the query and was told the technician logged a comment saying that I agreed to see them on Monday which was a lie. Again I was told they would get back to me and no contact. I called again on Saturday after midday and again was told they would follow up and get back to me and nothing. It's is now Monday and I called again this morning, was told they will get back to me. No call back. An hour later I call again, the support team put me on hold to call SADV and a few minutes later our estate security calls, so I end the call with HomeConnect to answer security and they tell me the Fiber guys are here. Not 5 minutes later I get a call back from HomeConnect to tell me SADV informed them a technician was on route. How convenient? The first call back update since Friday only happened when the technician arrived?. The best part was the comments from the technician that came out to resolve the issue today. He said he was told to cancel all appointments for Saturday and it seems no one contacted me to tell me. Also he commented it was strange it went out on Wednesday. When I asked why he said cause no one worked here on Wednesday. So what now? HomeConnect and SADV have Bush mechanic's working for them? Fix one issue and break something else! Idiots!! And all this for a fix that took roughly 20 minutes. So now I ask, who is going to reimburse me for the multiple follow up calls and all the premium priced data I was forced to buy when my contract provided so badly failed me?
