Pathetic IHS

I was disconnected from internet service on the 3rd week of February 2023. By 5 March I decided to reverse my debit order since I was still excluded from the service, this, I told them, they however decided to ignore me and send multiple SMS messages saying they will disconnect my internet, this made no sense when I had no internet since the 3rd week of February. Mid-March 2023 after I sent them whatsapp text asking them to stop sending these SMSs they reached out and said I need to pay the money due for March then they can re-instate the service.

Multiple times I told them I have been excluded long time ago. They sent Vuma to come & inspect the fiber-box (who sends an agent to come & inspect the fiber box knowing very well that they suspended the service and vuma can't really determine the issue??). Even after that, they only wanted my money. Asking me to pay for March when they know that usage is zero. I even provided photos of the portal & told them that they never provided me the service.

They kept on telling me that I signed a contract with them, seems like the part where THEY PROVIDE INTERNET SERVICE AT ALL TIMES is invisible on their side & they only see the part where I need to pay.

Long story short, I told them I'll only pay for the service I received this was around 25th of March 2022 (I still had no internet access).

I can see they lodged cancellation of the contract on 31 March 2023 & tried to debit around R2 700 on my bank account.

Home-connect is a bully & I refused to be bul**** by them, I am also tired of receiving their emails, threatening me about legal department & credit unions.

I don't recommend Home-Connect as the ISP.

By the way, my neighbor also does not have internet access. It disconnected around about the same time as mine. Whether they paid or not, I am not sure.
