Not getting what you pay for
Not getting what you are paying for. Have an 20mb uncapped unshaped line but hardly get the speed i am paying for. Not even able to stream DSTV without buffering, getting between 2-5 mb at best, rebooting has become and daily thing without any results. After countless emails and telephone calls to customer services i have decided to cancel and go to another service provider and homeconnect still making me to pay for one more month as notice and guess what speed still as **** as always. Will not recommend them to anyone, rather pay a bit more and go with someone than actually give you what you pay for.

27 Feb 2019, 16:34So just to report back, got an phone call yesterday asking me to test my internet speed again and send the results to homeconnect. unfortunately got home late and was unable to test and guess what...…….??
No internet this morning, so after speaking to about 3 people at homeconnect they confirmed that the line was released = cancelled.
As mentioned before i did apply for cancellation but homeconnect forces you to pay for another month as notice period.
Month end being 28 Feb 2019, i would guess service will run until that evening at 12 to ensure that you fully utilise your internet that you paid for as homeconnect deducts full payment in Jan for Feb usage.
So why was line cancelled 2 days before it actually should have????
