Home Connect + Celerity = NIGHTMARE

I signed up on the 4 September for the fibre to home service. After 2 weeks a Celerity operator came to my place and advised I would be connected soon.

I even asked him that I have an Afrihost uncapped 5g package and could I cancel that if he is certain by the 1st I would be connected and he advised I would be connected by then. I canceled with Afrihost for the coming month based on that.

Then the celerity operator said they was a delay because they were waiting on parts to be bought after they scheduled to come install the line and never showed up. I only got that update the day after the scheduled installation as I was following up on why noone came to install or inform me they wont be coming. After calling and being informed the issue was escalted i received different updates from both Celerity and Home Connect. Home connect advised me there is a delay cause of a backlog of installations and Celerity advised it was because of waiting on parts for installation

2 weeks after my scheduled installation date and noone can tell me an actual date on when i will be connected.I work from home and I currently have nothing setup in terms of connectivity for the coming month and I'm panicking and all I'm getting are sporadic updates that are not even consistent.

It's a continuing nightmare with no resolution in site as Celerity is still waiting on parts which I think they ordered from Mars.

I've spoken to too many agents and received multiple operations escalation emails but nothing was resolved, I'm still not connected and waiting on parts with no ETA.
