Disappointed, DO NOT RECOMMEND
Really disappointed with home-disconnect But that does not matter because i am no longer a client not because i made that decision but because the automated system said so. January 2023 was when i made the really bad decision to join home-connect at the end of that month i was billed for 2 months. Payment was abit late because i was unaware of been billed for one month in advance but sorted the payment out. Then the trouble started because an amount of 1700 was added to my bill accompanied with a price increase i was told my account was in a cancellation process and the 1700 is charged for installation and router.
I needed clearity not only because my intention is not to cancel my service but also no one installed my internet nor came with a router these products existed already they just needed to activate my services on their system.
I called a consultent and explained my story they recommend i pay the monthly subscription and the system will remove the installation fee and i will receive my invoices as normal but because my account is in arrears by a made up amount done by the system my account keeps on getting suspended by the system . I had to make eft payment because i kept getting debited for 1700 until 3rd of april when my services got cancelled and was told to go into the application process once again. When i said no i was told to pay 1700 fee and i explained that they can make it 1.7 million cause im not paying a cent.
I have explained the problem to 8 different consultants to be met with the final outcome of this problem and still be asked to repeat the application process is an insult to me as a client.
My understand of this issue is that home-connect has automated the entire process to save on employment cost at the expense of their clients it is because of this i do not recommend their services to anybody.
In the begining the had asked me to write a story on hello peter for a 10 percent discount on my internet i had chosen not to because i had noting to say, Thank you home-disconnect for giving me a story to tell.
Best regards,
