Complain of termination of contract

Complain for poor service. I terminate my service as I was vacation my place and have given 1 month calender notice. No I get a bill that I owe 4K because I didn't serve the notice on the portal. The fact that I send an email and a follow ups email. Called an spoke to one of the employee in accounts and this was not taken into consideration. I feel this is ******ion
