25 Apr 2025, 11:49Dear Martin, thank you for reaching out. Home-Connect is committed to adhere to regulatory changes in line to our business practices. While we sincerely appreciate your update regarding the reversal of VAT increase, we are cautiously awaiting a public announcement (from the minister of finance) to readjust our pricing. We have this at the top of our list and will adjust accordingly once validation is given by the legislature. Best regards, Home-Connect Team

25 Apr 2025, 12:56There has been a clear statement from SA gov that the VAT increase has been dropped. https://www.gov.za/news/media-statements/treasury-reversal-vat-increase-24-apr-2025
Home Connect have also sent out actual invoices with a 15.5% VAT rate. Hellopeter provides no means to add this as proof, but will delete one's review based on accusations of using terms like '*****ulent', even though none have been made.
