UN PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

A few months ago I saw a poster of Herotel in our area in Bela Bela and contact the number. Shortly afterwards the area manager phone me and arrange a meeting. During the meeting he indicated that Herotel's intention was to extend their service to a neighboring estate. After another meeting and several e-mails I receive a e-mail on 10 May 2022 with the following information "...kan ons binne 2 weke begin" (can we start within 2 weeks) Based on that I decided not to renew my existing wireless data contract with another service provider. End of May I tried to contact the manager but receive a message ' number does not exist' on his cell phone and ' undelivered on his e-mail.

I phoned the area office in Modimolle but was put through to a office in Mbombela. The operator put me through to, according to her, the new area manager in Modimolle. We arrange a meeting and after not pitching up for the first meeting eventualy a meeting took place. He indicated that the previous manager was dismissed and that there is no indication of any planning in our area. That seems to be strange because there were several e-mails and discussions with reverence and requests from their planning department. Very strange because the previous manager was very punctual. The new manager nevertheless undertook to investigate and refer back to me. That was the last word from Herotel. I tried to contact him but every time receive a message ' mailbox is full'. Phoning the area office eventual get through to the Mbombela office, just an answer that this area manager will contact me. My last attempt was on 2 June - no reply jet.

I fully understand if they say they can not provide the required service. It is however incomprehensible to except this level of total lack of professionalism. Can you imagine a area manager's mailbox gives a message 'mailbox is full' for a period of over a month.

I can just imagine if this is the level of sales pitch is what can be expected as a actual service.
