When maintenance of the fibre infrastructure is scheduled, Herotel sends a SMS beforehand stating when the service may be interrupted. Regular updates follow.

In the single incident in my 15 months with Herotel when the service was interrupted due to damage to the fibre infrastructure they sent frequent SMS updates on the progress of the repairs.

This in stark contrast to the terrible service received from Big Blue (ADSL) and Big Yellow (LTE). When the frequent interruptions of the service occurred one was left in the dark. Is it the computer, the network card, the router, infrastructure or simply a failed service? Total frustration when phoning the help line. I can write a book.

Herotel's upload and download speeds match or exceeds the stated speeds dependably.
