Seven Purchases, Two Years & Still a Happy Customer
I felt almost compelled to share my experience as a genuine, long standing client of Found Recycled after seeing some of the awful reviews on HelloPeter!!! I have been a client of Found Recycled for just over two years and have purchased seven pieces from them during that time, an armoire, bedside tables, a dining table, two wardrobes, a chest of drawers and a custom made bathroom vanity With SEVEN separate purchases I feel that I have had PLENTY of experience dealing with the company and can honestly say that my experience has been a very positive one!! Each purchase has been a great investment, and I have been very happy with both the pieces themselves and the service I have received. I have found the team helpful, professional and knowledgeable, and I have always felt comfortable dealing with them. What stands out to me is that I have continued to go back and purchase from them. If my experience had been anything like some of these negative reviews suggest, I definitely wouldn’t have returned to make purchase after purchase over a two year period!!!! I understand that Found Recycled has chosen not to respond to reviews on HelloPeter and has instead asked clients who have had positive experiences to share their own experiences. As a genuine client I am more than happy to do that. I am not saying that someone else's experience wasn't their experience. However I do think it is important that the many satisfied clients who have had good experiences are also heard. Personally for me the best evidence is my own history with the company, seven pieces purchased over two years, and I remain a happy and satisfied client!! I am sharing this review simply because I believe potential customers deserve to see a more balanced picture before making up their minds based on a bunch of negative reviews!!!! Based on my own experience I won’t even hesitate recommending Found Recycled and would happily purchase from them again.

Do not purchase anything from Found, Recycled, Restyled - you wont receive anything. ****
The worst experience ever - absolute ****. Placed order in April 2026, its now 5 months later, and nothing has arrived. You cannot phone, message or email them as they do not return any messages. We have been phoned 3 times to say that the table is on its way to date - nothing. They advertise on Face Book all the time, and it is difficult to leave a comment as they delete the message. I see a lot of other people have had the same experience. Do not waste your time, and get caught - you will lose your money.......

My french armoire..
Bought a beautiful French Armoire and absolutely love it. Surprised to read the unsatisfactory reviews and wonder if it’s from customers who expect new when buying antique or from competition.. Either way I’m eyeing a pair of pedestals next!

Avoid this business at all costs
Do not buy from this business Worst possible experience. I bought a display cupboard from them. After waiting 11 weeks for my order, i finally received the item. It was in such a bad state. The craftsmanship was horrible, it was so badly restored with scratches all over and missing pieces. Their communication is up to ****. For 11 weeks i had to call over and over and over again to listen to their empty promises. The owner refuses to call me and give me my money back. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS..!!

Do not buy from this business Worst possible experience. I bought a display cupboard from them. After waiting 11 weeks for my order, i finally received the item. It was in such a bad state. The craftsmanship was horrible, it was so badly restored with scratches all over and missing pieces. Their communication is up to ****. For 11 weeks i had to call over and over and over again to listen to their empty promises. The owner refuses to call me and give me my money back. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS..!!

Poor quality, ******* craftsmanship, want my money back!
I saw what looked like a beautiful dressing table that I bought for my wife. Once arriving at home and unwrapping the plastic I started to notice the amateur workmanship throughout the piece. The castor wheels were installed completely incorrectly and one even completely fell off as a ***** drilled through the side of the castor was barely making contact with the leg of the piece. All of the joins of the skew table top had glue stains that were not sanded down and a very cheap sealer had been painted over the glue stains. After contacting Adel & Tanya, they offered to send someone to fix it on site at my home. I explained to them that this is not a quick fix and this whole piece needs to be redone by a professional woodworker, not the person who worked on this in the first place. I also had zero confidence in the skills of anyone these guys have working for them if this is the quality of what they send out. As it stands, it’s been over a week, I’m still waiting for them to collect this piece of **** and refund me my R6500. Zero customer service post sale. They don’t reply or update you on anything. Please inspect every piece of furniture before buying anything from them. Rather avoid.

So happy with my order!
I recently ordered a pair of bedside tables from Found. Recycled. Restyled, and I absolutely LOVE them! They are absolutely beautiful, well made, and look SO SO perfect in my space. I’m also so impressed with the service from start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and easy. I’m incredibly happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for unique, high quality furniture!

So happy with my order!

After a promised two week lead time, we had to follow up in week four, and after that several times on the progress of the sideboard, only to have it delivered 8 weeks later. Delivery also had to take place twice, as the first attempt was promised to be at our house by 17:00 on a Friday afternoon only for them to arrive at midnight without communicating whether they were even still coming. Kieran from the place had such a "no care" attitude throughout the whole process, and called me out for "not being their only client they have to deal with" and that I am the one "being difficult" after they are the party not delivering and communicating as promised. This was such a stressful and disappointing experience. We honestly thought that we have been ****med. After eventually receiving the product, it does not even look like the pictures at all. Such a waste of time and money for us as a young married couple thinking we bought a timeless quality piece of furniture. I would NEVER recommend using these people's services, they are terrible people, and their way of doing business is horrible.
