Fibertime: Unresolved Complaint, Workers Entering My Yard Without Permission, and No Follow-Up from Management
Fibertime: Unresolved Complaint, Workers Entering My Yard Without Permission, and No Follow-Up from Management
I am extremely disappointed with the way Fibertime has handled my complaint.
My concerns relate to the conduct of workers at my property. On a previous occasion, trenches were left open overnight, creating safety concerns. More recently, I raised concerns about workers entering my yard without permission. During the latest incident, my wife was home alone, which made the situation even more concerning for my household.
I reported these issues to Fibertime because I expected the company to take my concerns seriously and ensure that its workers and contractors respect residents' property, privacy and safety.
Unfortunately, the handling of my complaint has been just as frustrating as the original incidents.
Fibertime responded by stating that a member of its leadership team had contacted me and that the email conversation would be closed. However, I never received any phone call or communication from anyone in the leadership team.
How can a company claim that a customer has been contacted and then close a complaint when the customer has received no communication?
I have made an effort to resolve this matter directly with Fibertime, but I am still waiting for meaningful feedback. I do not believe that closing an email conversation should be considered the same as resolving a customer's complaint.
What I expect from Fibertime:
1. A proper investigation into the incidents I reported. 2. An explanation of the circumstances surrounding workers entering my yard without permission. 3. Appropriate measures to ensure that trenches and other work areas are left safe. 4. Clarification of who supposedly contacted me, when the contact was attempted, and which contact details were used. 5. A response from management addressing my concerns and confirming what action will be taken.
I would prefer to resolve this matter directly and professionally with Fibertime. However, if my concerns continue to go unanswered, I will consider escalating the matter to ICASA and other appropriate channels.
I am sharing my experience because customers deserve to have legitimate safety and privacy concerns taken seriously, and complaints should not be closed on the assumption that communication has taken place when the customer has received none.
Fibertime, please investigate this matter properly and provide a meaningful response.
