Processes and procedures
I need to have my fibre up and working again today. I informed webafrica that I was going to move on 17th of January . Installation was confirmed for 31 January I moved on 31 january and there was an installation the isp was infinity. Webafrica says the problem is with evotel and evotel tells me problem was with webafrica.
Evotel tells me there is processes and procedures that needs to be followed.
Complete installation is done at my adress. However no one can assist. Getting my network up and running. I keep on getting the same answers 24 to 48 hours. Well its been more than 72 hours with just nonsense answers and feedback

03 Feb 2023, 12:07Hi there.
As previously mentioned, the previous tenant in your new apartment did not cancel their line correctly with their ISP. Your ISP understands the problem to be on our side because they do not have sight of other ISPs. We have contacted the previous tenant's ISP in order to have the line released, however, responses have been slow from them. We are unable to force cancelation from our side as we do not hold a contract with you.
We are doing what we can to have this resolved from our side and as soon as the line is released we will have you up and running.

As previously mentioned.
I am definitely not the first person that this is happening to.
We will just sit with our hands folded as we wait for nothing

Both ISP's have gotten back to us and got the line released, our team did get the old service cancelled and activated your services. We do apologise for the disturbance.
