EVO = Empty Vacant Offerings

Evotel and Vumatel both recently commenced a campaign of installing fiber throughout the entire town. However, the trenches and holes that were dug on my sidewalk by EVOTEL were left in a state of disgrace, to say the least! After numerous phone calls to client contact centers and follow-up emails, still nothing has been done. This matter has been on-going for more than 2 months now. The generic answer has also not changed: "We are sorry for the service and have escalated the matter." To who? When will somebody even bother to read their mail? If Evotel can't even fill trenches and clear rocks and stones, I would hate to know what type of internet service they would provide. Oh, wait....Probably none!!!

Hi there Craig.

We would like to apologise for the fact that trenches were dug and left unfilled. This is simply not the first impression we want to make on the communities we rollout in. Evotel is committed to reinstating what we alter and if our contractors have left your street in an unsightly state then we would like the opportunity to make this right.

Kindly provide us with your address and we will ensure that if this was our fault then we will have it hastily rectified.

Best regards,

CM

Update.... After posting my dismay on HelloPeter, the top-tier people of Evotel contacted me within minutes. I was promised that a resolve for the matter would be found. Within 5 minutes an inspector was on-site and immediately started attending to the issue.
I can honestly say that I am impressed at how quickly the matter was attended to, albeit after having to resort to HelloPeter.
Thank you to all involved in attending to and correcting the issues. :D
