MTN and telesales!!

MTN has outsourced Telesales to a company called Empowered Outsource (EO). I had a cell phone due for an upgrade. I was contacted by a sales person from EO. About 5 days later I was contacted to arrange delivery. (At no point in the sales discussion did the sales rep make any mention of the delivery process.) The delivery procedure was to involve my handing a copy of my ID document to the courier. I do not mind showing proof of ID to the courier. With the high incidence of Identity theft in SA this was something i was not prepared to do. I then approached an MTN outlet to arrange the contract renewal and collection from them, however was informed that only the telesales company could cancel the sales process from their side, and the sales outlet could not issue me with a new phone. I have tried without success to contact this EO company - there is no contact number, even on the internet and the 135 MTN contact number cannot help me. So now i sit with no means of progressing forwards!! Immensely frustrating!!
