Why even bother
<p>Today I received a call from Elite Mobile on behalf of Vodacom. They were promoting a new cellphone deal and I explained to the sales consultant that I am not interested. He said that they also have other products available and again I said to him I am not interested. After a long pause he said "I don't even know why I bother". Now what is worrying to me is firstly how do Elite Mobile make any money with a sales consultant who has a snotty attitude like that to a person who is not even a customer yet. Secondly, who on earth trained the sales consultant, because as far as I am concerned the way that you engage with any potential customer, customers or in fact just any other human being are crucial. I would advise that the particular sales consultant get more training and that the person who trained him in the first place rather get fired. And in future please apoint people who actually want to help you grow your business and actually like what they do.</p>
