UNAUTHORISED DEDUCTIONS
I received a call from Elite Mobile recently offering me a tablet for R99 pm. After many follow-up calls, I finally decided to take them up on the offer. Lavanya (the agent) offered me some additional services which refused.

After ending the call, her manager (I can't recall his name), called me to try and persuade me to sign up for those additional services. I declined again and eventually managed to end the call 10 minutes later after confirming many times I'm not taking up those services.

I thought that was that until my bank account was debited four times for services I did not sign up for or approved. I contact Elite Mobile and was told it would take them 4 to 5 days to investigate my claims following which they will contact me. It's been 6 (working) days and I have had to follow up with them regarding the refund. I asked for the manager to call me but I am still waiting.

I've been a Vodacom customer for over 10 years and have never had any problems with them until now.

I am still waiting to hear when I will receive the refund and letter apologising for the unauthorised deduction from my bank account.
