UNAPPROVED DEBIT ORDERS

In February an agent contacted me from Elite Mobile offering a contract for a Vodacom Tablet. All my personal details were taken and was told that it was subject to credit approval which I agreed to. This contract was declined by themselves. Surprise Surprise at the end of February my bank account was debited for R49 for Rescue Box, again end of March my account was debited for R49 for Rescue box and in addition for Safety Box R49. When I noticed this I immediately put a stop payment on this at my bank, this causing unnecessary bank charges.<br> <br> In short this relates back to ELITE MOBILE who implemented the debit orders. When querying with the call center today, the agent SAMUKESIWE informed me that it is one of the value added services and that the cost is in addition to the cost of the contract.<br> <br> This agent could not give me an address for ELITE MOBILE only to say that they are in Central Durban, also could not furnish the owners name and contact details.<br> <br> I find this matter disturbing and wonder how many people have been caught with this or their banking accounts being debited and they are not aware of it.
