SPAM CALLS

I have received no less than 5 telephone calls from *** and ***3 in the past 2 days. This number shows up on True Caller as Elite Mobile or Elite SPAM mobile.

I have never consented to this company having my personal information.

When I answer the phone, the call goes dead in less than 3 seconds so I am not even able to tell them to delete and destroy any and all personal information that they have ********ly obtained about me.

Furthermore, I have never been a customer of theirs and section 69 of POPIA makes it clear that unsolicited electronic communication including automatic calling machines, facsimile machines, SMS's or e- mail is prohibited unless the person 1. is an existing customer of the direct marketer - I am not an existing customer 2. is not a customer of the direct marketer but has provided consent to the direct marketing - I have not provided consent 3. has not previously withheld consent - I have withheld consent 4. consent was obtained in the prescribed manner - Consent was never obtained in the prescribed manner and it will never be obtained.
