R75 data deal turns into R355 per month!

I was phoned numerous times by Elite Mobile, who got my details from Vodacom. They said that they had a good deal for data, R75 per month for 1GB of data. I use a lot of data and that is cheaper than what I was getting through Vodacom so I agreed to it. The consultant said I would be given a modem, and I said several times that I did not need a modem as I had ADSL at home and I only wanted mobile data for my phone and iPad. The consultant said that the modem was part of the deal, so I agreed to take delivery of it. <br> <br> I then received the email information, and found that I had been signed up for the following, all with a monthly cost:<br> Wifi modem R207<br> Rescuebox R49<br> Hotspotter R39<br> Simfy R60<br> <br> Looking at the information, I am not even sure that I will be able to use the data with my phone, without being in a wifi hotspot. I had understood that the data was for 4G/3G and would never have taken the deal if I had known it was for hotspots.<br> <br> I was pressurised to give my banking details over the phone, and now am afraid that R355 will be debited from my account monthly. I want to cancel the entire deal and return the modem.<br>
