Misled by Telephonic Sales

I was called by Elite Mobile on 13/01/2015 to sell me a Vodafone Tablet. He convinced me to take this device at R89 per month as it could save me so much money if I cancelled my contract with Telkom. I asked specifically to keep my old Vodacom number and was assured that this would be the case. I received the tablet with a new number. After calling activation they sent me my old number. After 2 weeks and several phone calls I was told that I could in fact not use my old number because it was an Autopage number. I activated my NEW number on Friday 30 March in order to at least be able to use this device. On 1st February my bank account was debited with additional charges amounting to R226.00! Services which I was never told about or approved! It was reiterated that the total cost would be R89 per month. After calling Elite Mobile this morning and requesting the collection of this device as I do not wish to deal with a company that has been a nightmare from the word go, i was told by a very rude consultant that I had to wait 72 hours for approval of refund of my money and since the deadline to return the device was 28 Jan this cannot be done! MISLED AND CHEATED
