Mislead into thinking I was dealing with a vodacom agent

This guy Daryl phones me up and leads me to believe that I am talking directly with Vodacom. Not once did he correct me as I ranted about their service. Anyway, my contract is up for renewal, I reluctantly agree, under the guise that I am dealing with Vodacom direct, to upgrade. When I wonder why I don't get any SMS notifications my mind starts to run. Thankfully I checked my email to see a confirmation coming in from Elite Mobile services.

I never agreed to sign-up with Elite Mobile. Thankfully my partner is a lawyer here for a large firm, Cliff Decker Hofmeyer, and I have been advised if they do not cancel this contract immediately under the consumer protection act we will squash the living daylight out of them based on the horror stories I am reading here

I want this order immediately rescinded and if any debit order goes off my account on the 1st of December 2016 we will taking legal action and I will be going to Vodacom tomorrow to cancel my contract with them. How dare they sell my information on to these ************ *******s without my consent. I will be lodging a complaint as well in regards to Vodacom.

My number for contact is **********

Under the PPI (personal protection of information) Act we will be opening a case against Vodacom for passing on such personal information without my consent. If this order from Elite Mobile is not canceled before the end of this month and the order completely closed on their systems we will be taking legal action against Elite Mobile. So help you God Elite Mobile if any debit (admin or otherwise) goes off on the 1st of December.

Thank you. I am still not happy that Vodacom sent you all my details as I did not consent to that.

Also stop tricking people into thinking they are dealing with Vodacom direct.

Reading all the reviews here while you are at it detail what customers are being charged for. All this hotbox and roaming stuff you activate on a persons account without getting consent from them is outright deplorable.

But this does not surprise me. Businesses are looking at the ******** that is running this country and thinking hey he can get away with it then so can we. Where are your scruples? Where are your morals?

I am thankful for your prompt response to my problem but I will never as long as I live use your service.

Thank you and good day
