Making money ****??

MONEY MAKING ****?. Somebody from this company phoned me in April and offered me a few rand discount on my current contract. Initially, I was not interested, but she promised me several times that NOTHING will change, only the price. She confirmed this several times on the phone. I also informed her that I had a Christmas special of 30 GB data linked to my contract and that should not be affected either. If anything changes (except the price) I reject the offer. She ensured me that only the price and nothing else will change. Obviously, when I looked on my phone at my data and minutes, I was only left with a contract with less than a GB, a few minutes and a few SMS's a month. I have been trying for more than 2 months now to rectify it through my MTN store and they were up to now unsuccessful - 10 days ago they did succeed in having Elite mobile phone me with promises that they will investigate and phone me back (they did not want to give you a number at which you might contact them and their numbers on the WEB does not work). Nothing happened. In the meantime, I left 2 messages on their website without any response of acknowledgment of receipt. My simple advice is, put down the phone if this company phones you. That will cause you the least hassle. Engaging with them might prove seriously risky - if you like such risks a call from them is for you!
