Lying to customers

They take you through an entire upgrade process with an advisor, confirming the make, model, color and availability of the device. Then you have to speak to the manager also to confirm EVERYTHING again, just to receive a SMS the next day that the device they confirmed with you for the upgrade is out of stock, and they have NO IDEA when there will be stock. Why did you waste my time and let me go through the entire process in the first place?
