Harassment and denial

I have been contacted *again* by an agent at Elite Mobile phoning on behalf of Vodacom telling me that I was going to 'save money' despite having requested months ago to be taken off their list.

I politely said no and, not being the kind of person to put the phone down on anyone, requested that the phone call was terminated. That was not the case - Roscoe Govender then proceeded to harass me to listen to him, despite all of my protests. Eventually, when I asked for his manager, he said she wasn't at work, when I asked for another manager, he gave me a colleague, Christina.

After 50 minutes of speaking to Clarence (Team Leader), Charmaine (who was at work after all), and the manager Mohammad Langley and requesting the CEO's email address so that I could lay a complaint directly, I was told I was not going to get that but the customer care section was designed to deal with this and they would just take me off the contact list. I was unable to speak to Mohammad's manager, Stuart Pitt, as 'he is not in and I don't know who he reports to'.

Each of the escalated people involved initially apologised however once I was not prepared to accept them simply palming me off with their empty promises, they each spoke over me and said they could not do what I requested. I was even told that they would 'do me a favour' and get customer care to phone me rather than me having to phone them! They phoned me in the first place!!

The work ethic displayed by Elite Mobile is atrocious and I am extremely disappointed in Vodacom for having chosen them as a partner. If Vodacom is going to provide my details to a company like Elite Mobile, I will most definitely be porting my number away from Vodacom. I will not allow an ************ company like Elite Mobile to harass me as and when they feel like it and intrude into my life.

I was promised a callback within 5 minutes on the same number I phoned on - I'm still waiting 30 minutes later. And I was promised an email to confirm I had been taken off the contact list, despite no one taking my email address. When I asked Mohammed why he hadn't taken my details yet, he said that Customer Service would do that.

I want an email from one of the Executive members of Elite Mobile confirming that I will never be contacted again and I want an email from one of the Executive members of Vodacom to confirm that they will not pass on my details to any third parties.
