Getting offered a device and get a quote for a SIM?

On Monday 21 August 2023, a person phoned me, I don't know the name but he offered me a fantastic deal on an iPhone 12 pro-Max with a data bundle to the value of R549. I have confirmed the amount for the device and data multiple times and they confirmed that it is R549 for the device and data package.

I agreed to the deal and provided them with all relevant information and when I received the quotation it only stated SIM-Only for R199. I called Elite Mobile in the morning 2 times asking to talk to a manager. The lady who assisted me told me that the manager was in a meeting and they would call me back later. I called the office again and the lady kept on telling me that the manager would call me when they got out of the meeting (that was 4 and a half hours later). I asked the lady to send me a written confirmation that the matter has been escalated and to provide me with all the names that I have spoken to including the manager that is in meetings and never gets time to call.

To the people out there, go to the shop and get your contract at the shop because all that this company is doing is running credit checks against your name and making your credit score look bad.
