********** SIM card swap

Yesterday, 22 January 2021, I was alerted by Vodacom that Elite Mobile processed a ********** SIM card swap on my cell phone number. This may have been a case of identity theft. If the SIM swap had gone through, the person may have had access to one time pin numbers issued by my bank for online transactions. Or the person was trying to get a cell phone upgrade at my expense. Either way this is very suspicious and I need to know what happened and why proper security procedures were not followed by Elite Mobile in order to prevent ***** and identity theft. I am not even a customer of Elite Mobile. Please will a director of the company or senior manager contact me urgently, failing which I will be reporting this to the Police.
