An agent called and tried to convince me to upgrade my Vodacom lines, which I haven't done since Vodacom decided to not support dual sim phones.

The agent said he would check availability for me on a dual sim and call back.

When he called back he promised me that the phone he found was a dual SIM. I repeatedly asked that he was sure to which he responded that he was.

The phone arrived, and although it was dual sim able, the second slot was closed off and the dual sim functionality locked.

I see this as *****.

I want all the upgrades done via these ********** undone, and then for them to never ever call me again. I'm considering opening a civil case.

This is not something I wish for them to do to others, especially since they charge a cancellation fee as well as an upgrade fee.
