False Advertising

I was contacted by Nikita Govender on Friday 8 April '16. She was trying to sell me a Vodacom package, including a tablet and a 1GB data sim card. The big selling point was that she said I can use the sim card in any other device as I will be getting free wifi. My concern was that I do not have wifi at home. She told me (after I asked about 4 times) that I do not need wifi, this tablet will connect to Vodacom wifi at my home due to some technoology. This did not sound right so I asked her numerous times to explain how I will wifi without a signal. She said it work the same as a 3G card, where the tablet will automatically connect to the vodacom towers and I will have \mobile\" signal wherever I go. Still I was uncomfortable and phoned elite mobile back on Tuesday 12 April. The consultant said that I will get the sim and the tablet is wifi capable, as long as I am in a wifi hotspot area. This was totally contradicting. According to Nikita the conversation was recorded, so please listen to it. I have the refernece number also. This morning I cancelled the contract and really hope that I will not be charged anyway. This was total false advertising!!!!"
