Elite/Vodacom mobile ****py deal- milking its customers

So my decision to upgrade my contract with vodacom took me a while because of their high data rates, I was on a contract of getting airtime worth R350.00 prior to August 2018 and this did not work for me as converting airtime to data cost an arm and a leg and once done i was left with little airtime to make costs. So a consultant from Elite mobile kept calling and i advised that i was reluctant to upgrade and needed a contract that would cater to my needs as i was spending too much money on data. I wanted a certain phone and they advised on packages. I was happy with the 2Gb, 25 sms and 100minutes i would be getting with my new contract BUT there was clearly a catch, the consultant failed to advise that she would be putting me on an OPEN LINE and failed to advise what OPEN LINE means (now i have learned that Elite mobile consultants are not at liberty to explain this). what open line means is that once my data, sms and minutes gets depleted i incur extra costs, meaning i am not able to purchase any prepaid data etc BUT vodacom charges me extra cost for whatever data, sms or airtime i use. You can imagine my fustration when i started getting sms's that i owe vodacom +R600 when my contract with them is only for R480.00 when i started querying this and trying to get off this contract i am told i have to wait 3months because i only upgraded in August. One other thing is that their consultants dont seem to be aligned on how their processes work because when will advise on one thing while another states a different story. So today one of the consultants basically told me that to listen to a recording of my upgrade i have to go to a vodacom store while they send me a transcript that was manually typed from the recording. My issue is how do i know that the transcript is word for word of what transpired when i upgraded? and yes i am only 1 customer out of a million Elite customers but their escalation process is basically non-existent as much was not done to assist me. As i wait for November to get out of this ****py deal

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Kindly be advised that as per the call recording, the sales agent did advise you that this is an open line contract.

Please note that we have provided you with the transcript and we await for you to provide us with the nearest Vodacom store, where you can listen to the call recording.

Kind Regards, Elitemobile

The assumption that you have made that your customers understand what OPEN LINE is is appalling. Hence i asked if this agent explained what this OPEN LINE term means, and trust me she did not because had she done this i would have never taken this contract. You have provided no transcript....as per my conversation with your sales agent yesterday i am still waiting for it to be sent. 12hrs later an email containing(transcript) upgrade conversation is not sent ? and you still want me to go to a vodacom shop to go listen to it with today's latest technology can i not get a call from Elite mobile and listen to my conversation ? ridiculous, such bad customer service!!!
