Elite Mobile, Vodacom, ICASA & NCR in cahoots!

<p>OK!</p> <p>Let's try this again!</p> <p>In October 2014, I entered into a contract with Elite Mobile/Vodacom for a Vodacom Tablet with 1GB data/pm @ R89/pm.</p> <p>Bargain I thought, until I came across the following VASs being deducted from my account without my consent, authorisation or signature:</p> <p>1. Phonebox @ R34/pm</p> <p>2. Techtrace @ R41/pm</p> <p>3. 2 x SBox @ R43/pm</p> <p>4. 2 x Hotspotter @ R45/pm</p> <p>5. 2 x ResB @ R49/pm</p> <p>6. Somu @ R49/pm</p> <p>7. SOSSquad @ R59/pm</p> <p>8. SomuSim @ R60/pm</p> <p>A grand total of R517/pm and by my estimate R10340 since the contract initiation. (Apparently I have to tell them to cancel these VASs - go figure!)</p> <p>I've included Vodacom, ICASA & NCR for the following reasons:</p> <p>Vodacom: Elite Mobile is an accredited supplier of Vodacom products, and as such, should have vetted them!</p> <p>ICASA: Instead of putting stickers on "ICASA approved products", they should be monitoring the communications industry.</p> <p>NCR: There are hundreds, if not thousands of complaints against Elite Mobile, yet some how they are allowed to continually ******* the consumer!</p>
